If you're willing to kill a few NPC's in Dark Souls (Griggs of Vinheim), you can walk away with a few awesome items. In this situation, the NPC drops the Slumbering Dragon Crest Ring, the Silent Footsteps Ring, the Sorcerer's Catalyst, and the full Sorcerer's set.
